maybe it was just sweet to only take a glance
maybe the dissappearance made the heart grew fonder
maybe the smile worths all the wait
maybe the search was just a game
maybe the thoughts were just a test
maybe it was hard at first
maybe we wouldnt understand this for now
maybe the distance that made us closer
maybe the instinct brought us together
maybe a slight second could make a big different

maybe it was meant to be that way
